Last week, I wrapped up my very first offering through Full Circle Writing: Spring Into Writing: A 21-Day Guided Writing Journey. We began on March 20—the first day of spring—with the intention of nurturing a creative season for those wanting to reconnect with their writing practice.
The purpose of this program was simple but meaningful: to offer support and inspiration for writers who are thinking not just about what they write, but how they care for their writing process and projects.
Over the course of 21 days, participants received:
- A custom-designed writing log to reflect on their creative rhythms—not just to track word count, but to notice patterns, habits, and needs
- Twice-weekly emails with writing prompts and gentle activities focused on setting intentions, observing rituals, and cultivating care-centered practices
- Optional drop-in Zoom writing sessions to share space while writing
This was an asynchronous program—intentionally designed to offer structure without pressure. My hope was to create just enough of a container to offer grounding and guidance, while leaving space for flexibility. Whether someone was deep in a project or simply trying to re-enter their practice, I wanted this journey to meet them where they were.
This was also my first offering, and I hope it will be the first of many. (I’ve got a free five-day reflection series designed to help writers gently ease into summer writing mode — especially after a semester that’s been challenging and chaotic in ways many of us couldn’t have imagined coming in both May and June.) Starting a business during such an unpredictable time hasn’t been easy. Like many of you, I’ve had to postpone ideas, shift timelines, and navigate both personal and collective uncertainty. And yet, the heart of this work has remained clear: showing up for our writing still matters. Supporting one another still matters.
As I reflected on these past few months—and the immense gratitude I feel for getting to work with writers through coaching, consultations, and programs like this—I came back to a core belief: our writing practices are not separate from our lives. They’re shaped by the fullness of our days, our responsibilities, our joys and griefs, our limitations, and our longings. That’s why the ethos behind Full Circle Writing centers care.
Not just productivity. Not just output. But care.
I’m here to support your writing journey — feel free to reach out for a free consultation.
