Spring Into Writing: A 21-Day Journey to Connect with Your Writing

Winter feels incredibly long and, for many of us, heavy. It’s easy to feel disconnected from creativity during times like this—projects get set aside, writing routines stall, and inspiration can feel just out of reach. But as the season shifts, so can our writing. Spring is a time of renewal, a chance to clear space, recommit to what matters, and invite fresh energy into our creative practice.

During a time when many of us are trying to stay close to our communities and commitments, practices like writing are even more important for the grounding they can provide and for the sheer reason that our words, stories, and work still matter

I created Spring Into Writing—a 21-Day Journey to help writers turn to their work with care rather than pressure. I know firsthand how difficult it can be to pick up a project after time away. The guilt, the hesitation, the “where do I even start?” feeling. But I also believe there are ways to challenge those narratives and make writing feel like a practice of care, not obligation. This offering is built to be flexible yet supportive, so whether you’re returning to a manuscript, starting something new, or simply hoping to develop a more sustainable habit, you’ll have the guidance and community to help you along the way. This offering begins March 20 (hello spring!) and runs through April 9.

Over the 21 days, you’ll receive:

  • A customized writing log that emphasizes process over productivity
  • Short emails with prompts and resources to open and close your week
  • Optional 90-minute Zoom writing sessions for communal support

The opportunity to add coaching or developmental editing if you’d like more in-depth guidance is also available. There’s no pressure to share your work—this is about creating a space where writing feels possible again. What excites me most about this offering is that it allows writers to approach their craft (and themselves) with care. Over the next few weeks leading up to our kickoff, I’ll share more about each element of this program.

In the meantime, I’ve got a few blog posts that might help if you are looking for writing prompts or want to think about what it means to care for yourself as a writer. If you would like to connect sooner about developmental editing or coaching, please do reach out.

And if Spring Into Writing feels like the next step for you, I’d love to have you join me. Registration is now open!
